Microsoft adds CO-Pilot to 365!

Microsoft writes in a blog post that it adds Copilot to all Personal and Family subscriptions of Microsoft 365. A subscription to 365 gives you access to the latest versions of Office programs such as Word, Excel and Powerpoint. In this services, users can now call upon the AI assistant Copilot. Copilot can, for example, create presentations based on a text assignment or writing outlines for reports or essays.

The AI features were already available for personal users as part of the additional Copilot Pro subscription. Microsoft asks for 22 euros per month. Now, however, these features come standard for all Office subscribers available, making all subscriptions three euros become more expensive. The price of Personal increases from seven to ten euros per month. The price of Family, intended for multiple persons, starts from ten to thirteen euros.

It Copilot Pro subscription is not going away. Subscribers will receive early access to AI features and the newer Try out AI models earlier. They can also use the AI assistant more often calls. Regular users can ask a question sixty times per month ask the assistant.

Microsoft is also adding the Microsoft Designer design program to Microsoft 365. That service can create images based on a line of text. Designer can also edit existing photos, for example by replacing the background or removing objects.
